LODGE MEETING.
The Court Star of Canterbury Lodge, No. 2309, A.0.F., met in the Foresters’ Hall, Oxford Terrace, Chief Ranger Brother H. H. Skilton, presiding over a good attendance. The Woodward reported on the sick at present on the funds of the court. The report was received and sick pay passed for payment. Brother Miller, P.C.R., Court Southern Cross, Timaru, visited the court and received a hearty welcome. Brother O. Jacobsen, D.T., and Brother C W. F. Higgott, P.C.R., gave a re- ' port of the meeting of Friendly 1 Societies Dispensary Committee and re ceived a vote of thanks for their reports. The final social of the year will ' be held after the next court meeting.
