VALUABLE JEWELS STOLEN FROM HOME OF LADY LOCKHART.

Over £2OO worth of jewellery was stolen from the home of Lady Lockhart. Remuera. yesterday afternoon. It is thought that the robbery took place while Jack Lockhart, her son. was hav ing a cup of tea on the back verandah He had left the front door open, and it is supposed that the thief walked in unseen. Family heirlooms were stolen, including twenty pairs of car rings, several jewel cases, a watch and chain belonging to the late Mr Robert Lockhart, and familv seals, etc.
