AUCKLANDER GIVEN DECREE NISI FROM BIGAMOUS WIFE.
(Special to the “Star.”) AUCKLAND, June 14. A decree nisi was granted to Peri Ilunia, of Runaruna, from his wife, Alary Hunia. William Whittaker, who was cited as co-respondent, appeared solely on the question of costs. Petitioner gave evidence that he was married in July, 1910, at Whangape. 11 is wife left him in January. 1912. William Albert Nehoff, police constable of Rawene, said that respondent and co-respondent were living together as man and wife and had a family of seven. In June, 1926. respondent had pleaded guilty to a bigamy charge, but was still living with the co-respondent. < ounsel stated that the wife did not tell Whittaker prior to the bigamy charge that she had been married previously.
