SUICIDE CHOOSES BOILING SPRING.
Per Pre?s Association. ROTORUA, December 21. An unknown man, poorly clad, jumped into the boiling lake at Whaka at 1 p.m. to-day before horrified spectators. The police and the Maori caretaker were soon on. the spot with grapli'ng irons and the body was recovered an hour and a half later. It was removed to the morgue. The man’s age appeared to be about fifty-five. Ilis height was sft lOin and he was of medium build.
