"MARRIED, UNFORTUNATELY.”
“ Yes, unfortunately,” was Robert Dodd’s reply to Mr E. D. Mosley, S.M., when asked in the Magistrate's Court to-day if he were married. "Unfortunately?” queried the Magistrate. Defendant replied in the affirmative, stating that his wages were only £2 or £2 10s a week. The Magistrate: Well, you’re going to lose some of your wages. You are fined £2 and costs. The charge against defendant, was of being found on licensed hotel premises after hours. He stated that a friend urged him to accompany him there.
