(United Press Assn.—By Electric right.)
(Received November 28, 11.30 a.m.) NEW YORK, November 27.
Harry Wheeler, superintendent of the Lamport Holt line, testified before the Fedgral inquiry into the sinking of the Vestris that, in his opinion, the sinking of the Vestris was caused by the fracture of sea connections.
Wheeler had previously submitted four tentative reasons for the disaster, but he later expressed the opinion that the one outlined above outweighed the others.—Australian Press Association.
