EXPERIMENTS WITH RADIO TELEPHONY.

In the House of Commons, replying to Sir Robert Hamilton’s inquiry as to what was the position of wireless telephony and whether it was likely to be adopted to connect outlying islands, Sir William Mitchell-Thomson said that experiments with apparatus were being conducted, but at present there was no system capable of working at a cost to justify communication with the islands.—Australian Press Association —United Service.
