CHRISTCHURCH GIRL GAINS FRESH PRIZES.
In the Wellington competitions this week, a local pianiste, Miss Marjorie Alexander, has been successful in gaining first prize in piano solo, fourteen and under sixteen, and second in piano solo, any age. Her numbers were: “Waltz,” by Maurice Besley, and “Moments Musicals No. 6” (Schubert).
