TWO MEN CHARGED AS SEQUEL TO AFFRAY AT OTAIO.
Per Press Association. TIMARU, May 21. In the Magistrate’s Court, Bernard Lewis Blackwell and Ernest Gladstone M’Cunn appeared on remand charged with, at Otaio on May 11, entering the dwellings of William Alfred Ancell and Robert Barr with intent to commit crime. This was the sequel to a recent shooting affray. * Blackwell was also charged with assault. On the application of the police, a further remand was granted till May 29.
