The eighth annual meeting of the# Wholesale Warehouse Clerks’ Society (Inc.), was held on Thursday night, a fair number of members being present. The annual report showed that quite a fair interest in the affairs of the society was taken by the members and that during the year relations with employers had been very satisfactory. The annual dance, which is always a successful function, giving members an opportunity of spending the evening in social reunion, will be held during the coming month. The officers for the ensuing year are:—President, Mr A. Brettell; vice-presidents, Messrs D. C. Neave and G. IT. Richards; secretary, Mr C. A. Rattray; executive, Misses Williamson, Gray and Barlass, Messrs Cox, Ayers and Worrall. |
