WOMAN KILLED IN COLLISION.

MOTOR-CYCLE STRUCK THREE PEDESTRIANS

(Special to the "Star.”) WELLINGTON, April 30. As the result of a collision between a motor-cycle and three pedestrians in Adelaide Road last night. Miss E. Phillips. of 273. Hanson Street, was killed. The driver of the. cycle, W. Pavnter, eighteen, of Taranaki Street, suffered abrasions and shock. There was a party of several pedestrians, but as the footpath was narrow, some of them appeared to have been walking on the roadway. Two others were knocked down, but were able to be taken home.
