BANKRUPT, £16,000 IN DEBT, SENT FOR SENTENCE.
Per Press Association. INVERCARGILL, June 22. At the Police Court Gordon Brown, bankrupt land agent pleaded guilty to failing to keep proper books and also to contracting debts without reasonable expectation of being able to pay Counsel stated that bankrupt's deficiecy was about £16,000. Accused was committeed for sentence at Dunedin.
