COUNCIL OF BOY SCOUTS’ ASSOCIATION HOLDS ANNUAL MEETING
For Press Associati m. WELLINGTON, November 25. The Dominion Council of the Boy Scouts’ Association met to-day. Sir Charles Fcrgusson presided. Brigadier General A. W. Andrew eulogised his Excellency’s sympathy aftd activity in connection with youth work in the Dominion, especially" with Boy Scouts. Sir Charles Fergusson said that he was only too pleased to help the movcIn moving the annual report, Briga-dier-General Andrew said that he had heard repeated complaints of star chamber government of the movement by Christchurch during the past four years. The plain truth was that during that time there had been a steady increase in the outside membership of the Council, due entirely to the secretary’s persistent efforts to secure increased representation from districts outside Christchurch. To-day’s election would give extra scats to Gisborne and Wellington and representation to Timaru and Oamartt.
