Prisoners were sentenced at the Supreme Court by Mr Justice Alpers today as follows:—Timj Piti, on two charges of house breaking and theft, two years' hard labour: Phillip Scottin** aged forty-ievftn. married, with ftifl* childrr.rt , oft a char** of ipcett three year*' hard labour; Horae* Clif f*rd Alton, for the theft of £llj» frerft • hotel licensee, Lethe Traill, twelve months’ hard labour.
