WEDDING.
s M'CRAW-COMER. A profusion of beautiful roses decorated Holy Trinity Church, Avonside, yesterday afternoon, when the marriage was celebrated of Edna, eldest daughter of Mr E. H. Comer and the late Mrs Comer, Rochester Street, and Maurice Ernest M’Craw, of Dunedin. The ceremony was performed by the Rev O. Fitz Gerald and Mr Lilly presided at the organ. The bride, who was given away by her uncle, Mr Donald Comer, wore a gown of blush pink georgette, made with an accordeon pleated panel down the front of the dress. Pleatings were also introduced in the sleeves. Her veil to tone was ruched and fell to the hem of her frock and was held with a coronet of silver and orange blossom. She carried a bouquet of pink shaded flowers. Miss Ngaira Gates, cousin of the bride, was in attendance, wearing an attractive frock of apricot floral georgette, with accordeon-pleat-ed side panels of plain apricot shaded georgette, and sleeves of the plain material and a crinoline straw hat to tone, trimmed with roses. She carried a bouquet of roses to tone. Miss Alice Comer, sister of the bride, was also in attendance, and wore a dainty frock of sea blue crepe de chine made with handkerchief panels .edged with lace. She wore a coronet of silver leaves and carried a posy of mauve flowers. Mr William M’Craw was best man. The guests assembled later at the Winter Garden, where the reception was held. Mrs Comer received her guests wearing a handsome gown of black silk marocain, made with pleated side panels and trimmed at the borders with a design of black and white beads. Her black hat was trimmed with an osprey mount and she carried a bouquet of wine shaded antirrhinums. Mrs A. M'Nett, sister of the bridegroom, wore a grey silk marocain frock, made with wide bands of royal blue down the front and edging the loose side panels, and a black hat underlined with blue and trimmed with blue flowers. She carried a bouquet of pink roses. When the bride left for her wedding tour she wore a vieux rose silk repp frock with pleated panels and a crinoline straw hat to tone, banded with velvet.
