COMING-OF-AGE PARTY.
The coming of age of May, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs G. Stribling, was celebrated in the Rolleston Street Hall on Thursday evening. The hall was tastefully decorated with coloured .streamers and flowers, and the evening was spent in games and dancing. The music for the dancing was supplied by Mr Williams. During the evening the following items were given:—Miss Margaret M’Donald (solo dance), Miss Elsie Pattrick (song). Miss Thelma Buckley (recitation), Mr R. Harrison and Mr Scott (songs). A dainty supper was served in the gupper room, which was decof&ted with lilies and streamers. The guest of honour was the recipient of many’ presents. Those present included: —Mr and Mrs G. Stribling. Mr and Mrs H.
