FELL FROM LOG WHEN CROSSING A CREEK.
Per Pres* Association. EKETAHUNA, November 24. Jesse Tyler, aged seventy-two, was returning home to Taunui on Sunday evening from a neighbour’s and when (Tossing a creek spanned by a log he evidently missed his footing and fell seven or eight feet to the bed of the stream, where he was found dead. It was reported that he was just about to receive a four-figure bequest under the terms of his late brother's will.
