MEAT WORKERS IN FAVOUR OF ATTITUDE OF HAWKE’S BAY MEN.
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON. November 19. A combined meeting of the employees of the Gear Meat Company. Wellington, and the Meat Export Company, held at Petone last night, carried a resolution endorsing the action of the Hawke’s Bav men in the freezing workers’ dispute by a substantial majority. Mr M’Leod, secretary of the Wellington District Freezing Workers’ Union, stated to-day that the freezing workers at Patea. Imlay. Castlecliff. Feilding and I/ongburn had also endorsed the attitude.
