STAY-AT-HOME “SPORTS.”
To the Editor. Sir,—The concert organiser from 3YA asks for an item. The people asked go to the studio, not to please themselves, but the Broadcasting Company, and whatever they do, they do their best. These obliging people receive nothing for their trouble, and while they, on perhaps a dirty, wet night, go out to amuse others who sit at home in comfort, do the people who growl call themselves sports? Taken all round, the concerts broadcast by 3YA are quite enjoyable. Perhaps listeners would have something to worry about if all these unselfish entertainers stayed at home.—l am., etc., SPORT.
