The “Daily News” states that Mr Lloyd George has unconditionally offered to place the whole of the interest upon the famous war chest at the disposal of the Liberal Party, excepting that the cost of the land campaign and the industrial inquiry shall be the first charges upon it. This is the outcome of the deliberations of a sub-committee seeking a method of re-establishing Liberal unity, especially in regard to finance and organisation. It proposes the establishment of a new management committee agreeable to all parties under a neutral' chairman.
