SETTLER DROWNED IN KAIMAI CREEK.
Per Press Association. TAURANGA, November 19. A settler named David Scott, aged thirty-five, was drowned at Kaimai. He went to a creek to attend to a ram, and did not return. His brother went down later, and found Scott’s body in the creek.
