“Any man who milks cows night and morning is not fit to do am work during the day,” said his Honor Mr Justice Reed in excusing three dairy farmers who applied for exemption from jury service at the Palmerston North Supreme Court. “Dairy farmers should be given consideration,” added his Honor.
