UNIQUE PAGEANT SEEN AT CHURCH CONGRESS.

In a pageant unique in the Western Hemisphere the Princes of the Roman Catholic Church installed Cardinal Bonzano as the personal representative of the Pope in the twenty-eighth International Eucharist Congress at Chicago. The Holy Name Cathedral -was ablaze with thousands of lights a.s the Legate took the throne surrounded by Catholic leaders, including eleven cardinals, each wearing scarlet robes, buckled slippers, and red birettas. The church seats only two thousand, so few laymen were present when 800 priests in black and white, 500 seminary students in purple cassocks, 500 monsignori, also in purple, 17 mitred abbots, 250 bishops and 57 archbishops stood., to greet the cardinals.
