At last night’s meeting of the City Council the By-laws Committee reporied that on receipt of the petition complaining of a nuisance caused by a. fowl grit factory, it had been decided to inspect the factory. Members of the committee now reported that it did not consider there was a nuisance existing which could be termed a
public nuisance, and that it therefore did not propose to take any further action in the matter at present. The report was adopted, ,
