BUSINESS SITES ARE PUT UP FOR SALE.
Twelve city business sites fronting on Colombo Street, on the left-hand side, just south of Belfast Street, were submitted by public auction this afternoon by Jopes, M Crostie, Ltd., on account of J. J. Niven and Co . Ltd. There was a large attendance of the public but bidding was not spirited. Bidding for lot. 1 (5.12 perches), started at £4O and rose to £63. at which it was passed in.- None of the lots were sold.
