FRENCH BONDS ARE MOVING UPWARD, BUT FRANC KEEPS LOW.

Despite the agreement reached at Washington to fund the French debt, the franc continued to-day to hover around the record low level, dealings being made at 3.28 cents, while a sympathetic reaction carried the Belgian franc down to a new minimum price for the year of 3.36. French bonds, however, reflected a favourable response to the settlement.
