COLERIDGE POWER MAY HAVE TO BE CUT OFF.

In case of excessive overload during the next few months the Lake Coler idge electric power may have to be cut off temporarily as a measure of protection. The conditions of overload will become more severe in the next two months of winter. Supply to date has been maintained only by the close cooperation of the large consumers who, ungrudgingly and at inconvenience to themselves, have on request materially reduced their demand during peak load hours. Until the additional plant at Lake Coleridge is installed the demand for power will be far in excess of the capacity of the present plant, and consumers are urged to co-operate with : the Department in reducing their de- i mand daily during peak load hours* J Particularly is this urged between the [

hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on ordinary week-days, and between 4S a.m, and 8 pan. on Fridays.
