WEDDINGS.

TAYLO R—CAM E RON. St Andrew’s Church was the scene of a pretty wedding yesterday afternoon, when Ruth Margaret, fifth daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Cameron, of Otarama, was married to Arnold Maurice, eldest son of the late Mr and Mrs Thomas Taylor, of Christchurch. Tha Rev N. L. D. Webster officiated and Mr Robert Lake presided at the organ. The bride, who was given away by Tier brother, Mr James Cameron, looked most attractive in her frock of beige patterned marocain, made with a front tucked panel to the waist, finished with a cluster of nasturtium shaded flowers and ties of the material from the shoulders falling below the waist and terminating in a long silk tassel matching her frock. Her hat of satin in the same shade had a feather mount at one side tipped with autumn shades, and she carried a bouquet of tawny shaded flowers. Miss Rita Cameron attended her sister, wearing a girlish frock of cinnamon brown marocain. fashioned with an inset panel of ecru lace on the bodice and a finely pleated apron panel. Her hat of the same shade had a crown of the plaited material and a flower mount at one. side. A bouquet of autumn flowers was carried. Two small nieces of the bride, Rita and Eva Cameron, made charming little flower girls in their frocks of deep pink marocain, made with frilled side panels and on their hair a swathe of tulle and shaded leaves. Mr Maurice Cunningham attended the bridegroom as best man. / Following the ceremony a reception was held at Dixieland, where the guests were received by Mrs G. Hensley, sister of the bride, and Mrs H. D. Muff, sister of the bridegroom. Mrs Hensley wore a smartly tailored black costume with a pin stripe, a black hat with a gold mount and a fox fur. Mrs Muff, a black marocain tunic frock, the underskirt being of the patterned material, a black upturned hat with royal blue and a mole fur coat. When the bride left, for her wedding tour she wore a navy blue tailored costume, lightly braided in hlue, and a smart navy liat, with a shaded flower mount.

R E N N E LI—KIN VIG. A quiet but pretty wedding was solemnised at St Mary’s, Manchester St., yesterday, when Bernard, the seventh son of Airs J. Rennell, of Christchurch, was mar.led to Alix. the youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs Alfred Kinvig, of Christchurch. The Rev Father Bartley officiated at a nuptial Mass, and afterwards the relatives and personal friends of the happy couole were entertained at the hoipe of th* bridegroom where Mrs Charles Rennell acted as hostess. The bride wore a model frock of flame georgette, with a flared scalloped skirt, the bodice being cut in panels to show the underdress of gold lace Her hat was ot black satin with an asprev mount with touches of flame and she carried an ivory prayer book. Miss Jean Rennell, niece of the bridegroom, wore a cinnamon frock of marocain with touches of oriental embroidery and a hat to match Mr M. Blundell Hawkes was best Mrs Charles Rennell was wearing a beautiful*model frock in toast georgette with yoke and godets inlet in skirt of chenille embroidered in peacock and brown and a small black hat with touches of colour to match. After the reception Mr and Mrs Bernard Rennell left lor a motor tour of Nelson and the West Coast, the bride wearing o marocain frock in autumn tones, Tmt to match and a handsome seal coat. Air Bernard Rennell. who is well known in musical circles, received many gifts and numerous telegrams which testified the best wishes of all their friends.
