MELBOURNE. April 22. Th Commonwealth Publicity Director (Air Robinson), realising the worldwide importance of the heroic act of Miss Florrie I lodges, the Powelltown girl who saved several children during the recent bush fires, has agreed, with Mr Charles Barrett, representing Dr Maloney, to produce a motion picture representing the acts of the girl on “ Black Sunday.” Copies of the film will be shown in England .and elsewhere to make public the bravery of this Australian heroine. The proceeds will be devoted to founding a hostel in the mountains for anaemic schoolgirls, to be called “ Florence Hostel.”
