PARIS. April 11. Photographs, neatly printed on the stocking by the same process used the past year for the. popular Uugad prints, arc the most striking development of the early Spring fashions. Thus the ,Cl(i pair of stockings has become a reality. The prospective wearer supplies the photos, she desires re-produced, and which the experts translate to the wood cuts, with which each hose is stamped by hand, generally in colours to match the wearer’s various gowns. Another expensive variety of stockings is made of gold thread and n silk mixture, with a small pocket woven on the outside of the left leg, near the knee, for a miniature powder-puff, with a similar pocket cm the other leg for a tiny handkerchief.
