IMPROVEMENTS INSPECTED. The Grounds Committee of the Canterbury Agricultural and Pastoral Association j visited the Show Grounds at Addington 1 yesterday to deal with se'eral matters connected with the improvements at present ! in hand and others that are contemplated. 1 It was found that the outside walls of the new cattle pavilion were almost completed. that the wall plates, to carry the ;oof, were being put in place, and that a start has been mane with the subdivisions for the stalls. The bar has been removed from under the grain! stand and the space occupied by it has been thrown into the luncheon room. The enlarging of the kitchen has been practically completed. The foundations of the large budding behind the grand stand in which accommodation ts to be provided for attendants on stock, and where the new bar will l>e situated, are well in haml.
