SANDERS CUP. Ber Press Association. DUNEDIN, June 22. At a meeting of the Otago Yacht and Motor Boat Association to-night it was decided that the first race in the Sanders Cup, 1325 contest., be sailed on Otago Harbour on Friday. February 13. The president stated that the tides would be most suitable at that time of the rear, and the first race would be sailed practically on high water in the morning. The second ra©© would b a sailed the following day, and crews would thus be given a chance to rest before the third race on the Monday. Considerable discussion followed on the question of sailing all. the races in full view of the wharves, and probably a recommendation will be mad© to the Dominion Council that this be given effect, to. It was pointed out. that, if the races start and finish at the boat harbour the retaining wall would have to be flagged so as to prevent the competing crews fouling or sailing over the wall.
