CLEAN BILL OF HEALTH.

SUVA NOW SAFE FOR TOURISTS. AUCKLAND, June 1-S. Dr G. Frepgley, who returned from Suva this morning, together with four nursing sisters, states that the typhoid epidemic was traced to a blocked watermsin, which carried typhoid germs into the domain and contaminated the town supply. About 200 people, including 120 Europeans, caught the fever, the deaths totalling seven white people, including one. or two New Zealanders. Suva is now quite safe for tourists. When Dr Frcngley left there were no new cases, except one or two Indians, who were catching the fever from relatives.
