GREATER CRYSTAL PALACE

Mr Hoot Gibson is back at Greater Crystal Palace again, in his slouch hat, flannel shirt, gaiters and— his best asset—his whimsical expression, by which he does some of his best acting. His horse and he are indivisible. In “ The Hurricane Kid ’’ he has a particularly beautiful horse, which should be a delight to all good judges of horseflesh. The second picture, “Defying Destiny,” has a powerful love interest, but also a matter-of-fact business element, which gives ir. a somewhat unusual character. Th 0 “Fight and Win,” serial grows ir. popularity week by week. This is owing partly to Mr Jack Dempsey's reputation in the ring, hut also to the unexpected talents he displays in Iron* cf the camera. Tn addition to the three main pictures, there arc a Century comedy and an International' News film. The Symphony Orchestra contributes a brilliant musical entertain ment.
