LIBERY THEATRE.
Always ready to provide the best ■that c-aii Vie offered in screen entertainments, the management of Liberty Theatre have again brought before tho picture-going public of Christchurch one of the foremost productions of the year. It. is a story with a logical, yet absorbing plot, superbly produced, and combining oil the resources of the modern producer. The picture, “Three Women,’’ is a story of one man and three women, he being loved by the three of them. As with everything in this world, his day of reckoning comes, and it is a Midden and fierce reckoning, hut one that is deserved. The plot, io say the least, is unusual. Of the three women. two are mother and daughter, while tlie third is an outsider. The man in the case comes under the heading of what the America us describe as a gold-digger, one who is attracted anywhere where there is easy money to obtained. whether he gains it by fair means or foul. Trcm the spectacular point of view", the picture is splendidly handled. There is a fine supporting programme, including gazettes, comedy and cartoons. The Liberty Quality Orchestra, under the direction of Mr Howard Moody, provides an excellent programme of incidental music.
