Protocol ,is much discussed in the French Press, which seizes the occasion to revive the question of obtaining definite guarantees of France’s The Rome correspondent of “Le Matin ’’ represents Mr Austen Chamberlain as declaring in an interview that there was only the slightest chance of getting the Dominions to accept the Protocol and even a slight er chance of getting them to agree to an alliance with France and Belgium.
