The naval correspondent of the “ Daily News,” dealing with the details of expenditure of £10.500.000 on Singapore Base, states that wharves, basins, railways and roads will cost £5,100.000, the graving dock £1.000.000, buildings £420,000. workshops and storehouses £l,< 80,000, magazines £1,000,000, and contingencies £1,200,000.
