FACE THE FACTS.
ADVICE OF " THE TIMES.” " Times ” Service. (Received December 22. 1.40 p.m.) LONDON, December 20. “ The Times,” commenting ou the suggestions of a Liberal-Conservative coalition, declares that the proposal is not practicable, and lacks permanence. It would only postpone the Labour entry, and in the meantime would give the Labourites such a stick to belabour tlieir opponents as they had never before possessed. The better conrse would be to face the facts and make the best of the situation.
