MAKING FOR PORT.
THE WARSHIP GERANIUM. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received June 29, 12.40 p.m.) SYDNEY, Juno 29. A wireless received from the warship Garanimn reporting that she struck a reef in the Sir Edward Pellew group islands while engaged in survey work. She came off after striking with her keel damaged and leaking slightly, and is now making for port. Tho warship Fantome, engaged in survey work in Torres Strait, has gone to her assistance.
