Government conferences have advanced matters. so that Cabinet will be able to consider the. main points of the proposed Note over the week-end. These -will then - be presented to the leaders of the political parties for their opinion. The Note, therefore, is not expected before the middle of next week. FRONTIER PASSPORTS. PARIS, April 28. The Inter-Allied Rhineland Commission has decided to enforce all travellers from unoccupied Germany to produce passports on entering Rhineland, or the bridgehead areas. This is a reply to Ebert’s decree, closing th> German frontiers to all Germans except the holder* of a special permit.
