RUGBY TEAM TO GO HOME
FIRST INVITATION ON RECORD. (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, April 10An invitation has been received by the chairman of the New Zealand Rugby Union. Mr S. S. Dean, from the English Rugby Union, for a New* Zealand representative team to visit the United Kingdom during the 1924-25 season. The invitation was received bv cable from Mr C. S. A\ ray. the New Zealand representative on the English Rugby Union. It had been indicated to the English Union that. New Zealand would be -willing to send a tea to the United Kingdom in 1924.. Apparently the TTnion 4*t. Home has seen its way to arrange for the New Zealanders torn* after the return of the English representatives from South Africa. It vroukl be necessary for the New Zealand team to leave towards the end of the 1924 season.
