SOVIET DENY EXISTENCE OF GOD.

A message from Helsingfors states that when the Patriarch Tikhon was told to prepare for his trial, he said: “ I want no defence, but God.” The Soviet promptly denied the existence of God. Warsaw reports that indignation against the Soviet's persecutions ef church dignitaries is at fever pitch in Poland, especially as ths Soviet had assured the Premier that Monsignar Budksvitch would not be executed.
The withdrawal of the Soviet representative from Warsaw is imminent.
