BOWLING.

CHRISTCHURCH CENTRE. A meeting of the Christchurch Bowling Centre was held in the Stock Exchange rooms on Monday evening, when there wai a good attendance of members. In the absence of the president and vice-president Mr T. Healey wae voted to the chair. A vote of sympathy to Mr A. Dickson, in his recent bereavement, was passed, members standing in silence. Apologies were received from Messrs F. Steams. W. 11. Samuels, J. J). Colville.-A. .J. Benzie, A. Dickson and li. B. Oakey. The secretary stated that ihe b&nk-bal aiice showed a credit of £123 as with liabilities totalling £76. It was decided that medals be procured for the winner and runner-up of the Maddisou singles championship. Mr G. R. Proctor gave notice to move: " That in future a certificate be presented to the club whose representatives win the champion rink game.” In accordance with notice of motion, Mr M. F. Barnett moved as follows; " Alteration to Rule 7 Clause.!,, on page 7. Constitution and Rules, by deleting the word ' clnb ' and substituting the words * member of affiliated clubs.' Alteration to Rule 8, Clause. 1, on page 7, Constitution and Rules by substituting the following words:—'-'The levy including the fee fixed by the D.N.Z.B.A. shall be collected from members of each, club by the secretary or treasurer, who shall pay the amount to the secretary-treasurer of the centre on or before the first day of February of each year.'
