CANTERBURY MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE. A meeting of the Management Committee of the Canterbury Football Association was held last night; present—Messrs K. B. Bunt (in the chair), W. D. Ramsay. R. W. Froggatt A deputation consisting of Messrs English, Bunt, Bentley and the secretary was ’ appointed to interview the sports master of the West Christchurch School in connection with the playing of Association football at the school, it having been re- ■ ported that scholars were forbidden to play “ Soccer." The Nomads Club reported on the Easter visit of the Thistle Club (Wellington). Tho Thistle Club wrote expressing appreciation of the excellent time spent while guests of tbe C.F.A. It was decided that it be a recommendation to senior players to pay for admission to English Park, an amendment that 2s 6d ground fee be added to the registration fee being lost. The match committee was recommended to postpone the opening of the junior grades competitions till April 21, in view of the fact that a compulsory military parade has been called for Saturdav, April 14. A meeting of the Canterbury Referees' Association was held last, night. Mr E. Knights was appointed delegate to the C.F.A. and Mr W. Bryce (Wellington) was appointed delegate to the New Zealand Referees' Association. It was decided that in future the assor ciatiou will abide by the rule which provides for one whistle only for all infringementis.
