NATURALISATION CASE.

APPEAL BY WOLTER. (Pra Press Association.) WELLINGTON, December 2. Judgment has been given by the Chief Justice, in the Wolter Naturalisation case. Wolter was born in Germany and was once a German subject. He obtained letters of naturalisation in 1911, which were revoked by the Act of 1017. He was then convicted for failing Xb make application for registration as an alien. Sir Robert Stout held that the conviction must stand. The question was raised that Wolter was willing to register if he was not required to admit that, he wag a German subject That could not be dealt with, but as the appellant had acted openly and in good faith no costs were allowed.
