W ARE N A BOOL-M E EDO U RNE HANDICAPS. The following cablegram has been received from the Dunlop Rubber Company, Melbourne. with the handicaps of the local riders taking part in the Wurruambool to Melbourne road race:— • Warrnambool Handicaps—P. Hill ana Good all. 32m in; W. Hill, of Addington, SSmin. WAPv.RNA.AI BOOL—MELBOURNE ROAD RACE. In addition to P. O’Shea, it has beer, decided to send P. Hill to Australia as a New Zealand representative to ride in the Warrnambool—Melbourne road race. This decision was come to last night at a meeting of the North Canterbury centre of the Athletic and Cycling Union, at which Mr W. -7. Walter presided. Tt was decided lo increase the amount granted by the Dunlop Company by £5, and ulso to give £25 towards Hill’s expenses. The secretary was instructed to write to (Ireyrnouth to see if futTds could be raised to send B. Wright of Reefton to Australia as well. The meeting voted .£lO towards this object, and decided to canvass affiliated centres for subscriptions.
