Two interruptions to tho tramway service occurred early last evening. The first was a derailment, due probably to a bent axle, at tlie Opawa terminus. A petition bearing 860 names has been forwarded to Mr G. Witty, M.P., asking that a Post Office be provided for Riccarton, to be situated in the vicinity of Ricoarfcon Road aud Clarence Road. At present the two nearest Post Offices are at Upper Rice art on and in the city. The petition was urmnofced b.v Mr. T. M. Ford.
