CANTERBURY LADIES' ASSOCIATION. The following is the draw of matches for Saturday next:— Seniors —Sydenham v. Wharenui, at Hagley Park; Digrbys v. Okiri, at Little River; Technical College v. Wairewa, at Little River; Waimairi v. Rangiora, at Rangiora. Juniors—Hinomoa A v. Technical College, at Kaiapoi; Hinemoa B v. Digby's, at Haglcy Park; Ngaio v. Rangiora, at Woolston Park. MALVERN LADIES. Playing in the Malvern Ladies' Hockey Sub-association matches on Saturday. Sheffield A l (Miss Milliken) defeated Greendalo nil; referee, Mr W. Pole. Kimberley 2 (Mias E. Beaman) drew with Darfield 2 (Miss C. Jarman, Miss M. Edge); referee. Mr W. A. Wilson. Hororata 3 defeated Sheffield B nil. CANTERBURY ASSOCIATION. MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE. The fortnightly meeting of the Management Committee of the Canterbury Hockey Association was held last evening; present —Messrs G. Holland (chairman), F. Crawford, H. Rogers, H. Lamb, C. Franklin, F. Grade, li. Lamb, A. Haaeil, H. Warburton, T. Hartigan, O. Holland, T. M. Colley, L Byers and L. L. Smith (honorary sec retary). Apologies were received for the absence of Messrs R. P. Granger and H. Bell. A motion of sympathy was passed to M J. Noble on account of a family bereavement. The New Zealand Hockey Association forwarded a list, of players entitled to interisland caps, and asked for the addresses of such players. It also announced that a conference of hockey referees would be held in Wellington on June 13. Tho matter of the Referees' Conference was referred to the Referee's Association. The South Canterbury Hockey Associa tion wrote inviting a team for a match about the end of June. It was decided to accept the invitation. The Canterbury Rugby Union wrote stating that it was prepared to grant a percentage of the gate at Lancaster Park. The Canterbury Ladies' Hockey Association wrote asking for the use of about six grounds on or about June 17. The matter was referred to the Grounds Committee. The referee in the senior grade match Y.M.C.A. v. Christchurch on Saturday last reported having ordered a Y.M.C.A. playei off the field for using bad language during the progress of the match. Tho Judiciary Committee reported having dealt with the case, and recommended that the player be suspended for three playing Saturdays. An amendment, that the player be suspended for one playing Saturday and re primanded, was carried. The Competitions Committee reported that tho Sydenham Club had withdrawn their third grade team from the competitions. Complaints were received about the markings of the grounds, and the Grounds Committee were instructed to rectify the trouble. The Tournament Committee recommended that a five a-side tournament be held on or about June 24. The recommendation was carried. It was decided to enter a challenge for the Hatch Cun competition, and also for the secondary schools competition. Mr C. Bellamy was appointed ns sole selector for tho senior grade, Mr W. C. Bishop for the junior grade and Messrs J. Noble, A. Bareli and L. Smith for the primary schools.
