YOUNG CITIZENS' LEAGUE.
EXTENDING THE WORK. The members of the Auckland delegation which came south to form branches of the Young Citizens’ League returned to Christchurch last night from the south, and will meet the local advisory council of the Christchurch League at the City Council Chamber this afternoon. The delegation, which consists of Mr E. C. Cut ten, S.M., Dr Maguire and Messrs Purdie and Stebbing, will leave Christchurch to-morrow for Greymouth, Nelson and probablv Westport, where it is hoped to extend the work of tho league. Two very strong leagues have been formed at Dunedin and Invercargill, and the delegates speak gratefully of their reception throughout the South Island. „
