AUCKLAND TO INVERCARGILL.

D.H.9 AT TTMVARU. (Per Press Association.) TIMARU, November 1. The D.H.9 aeroplane in tho Auck-land-Invercargill flight arrived at Timaru at 5.24 this evening. The flying timo from Auckland to Timaru was 8 hours 15 minutes. The plane carried a caigo of parcels, letters and Wellington morning newspapers, delivered for the first time in Christchurch and the south oil the day of issue. The flight is likely to be concluded tomorrow. FLYING AT BLENHEIM. [From Otjr Correspondent.] BLENHEIM, November 1. Mr H. N. Hawker, of the Canterbury Aviation Company, carried about fifty passengers at Blenheim on Saturday and Sunday in excellent weather and Captain Dickson carried twentytwo passengers to-day in a nor’-wester in the De Haviland machine. Mr Hawker will fly his Avro to Nelson on Thursday to give the first aeroplane rides on the West Coast. Captain Dickson will fly at Seddon. to-morrow (Wednesday). He expects to reach Christchurch on Thursday in the De Haviland machine.
